Having a mentor is something I never had when starting out online and that is probably one of the first things someone should have told me. Instead of buying a domain name or getting your hosting at Hostgator make sure you get someone that can lead you in the right way of producing a solid brand for yourself, push you when you don?t want to work, and challenge you when it comes down to ideas that you come up with. It took me over a year to finally realize the importance of mentorship and finding someone in the internet marketing field that was successful in some areas that I was looking for.

Internet marketers use to really get a bad name because some use to spam inboxes and send out multiple updates that upset a lot of people. But, now the current internet marketers now build value over price and also they offer insight on a lot of various issues that come up in their fields that no one else is doing. Over the past year I have studied and followed some of the key internet marketers and how they present their products and services.

My opinion of an internet marketer that doesn?t suck has to have a couple of qualities:
- Confidence
- Courage
- Consistent
- Great Brand
- Cool Name
- Great deal of knowledge in their area
- Outstanding social presence
